My name is Maria Wood. I live in Reading, Berkshire, UK.

 

 I'm an Intuitive Healer & Counsellor, Life/Soul Coach, Nlp Practitioner, Colour, Crystal and Massage Therapist, Certified Reiki Master/Teacher in various energy systems but more than having a certification, Reiki is my passion and I feel my most important qualification is that I have been working on self-healing for the last 10 years.

 

 My thirst for spiritual knowledge is something that defines me and gives me sense of purpose. Ever since I was young, I've known that there was more to the world than meets the eye..

 

I have always wanted people to feel good about themselves after being in my company and it is from this point I felt my journey was to find the tools with which to help those people began…

 

My journey started when someone introduced me to Reiki. As he was talking, it was as if a light-bulb switched-on in my head, and I just 'knew' that Reiki was the thing that was going to help me - and help me to help others!

 

You see, I've had this yearning - all of my life - as far back as I can remenber; to want to help others. I just never knew how I could do that. So, shortly after being introduced to Reiki, I decided to learn Reiki. It was 2000 and I had no idea how my life was going to change!

 

Where to begin...I have been on a intense search for several years now. What have I been seeking? Answers, you know, to the big questions. Where did I come from? Who am I supposed to be in the big scheme of things? Did I agree to all of this? Or, is this just a playground in my imagination and someday, I will awake and find it was all a dream?  

 

 When I began to seek, I found there were all sorts of people, places, events and happenings occurring that I did not even know existed. I wondered where were they before this quest? They existed, but they were not in my awareness, and therefore, were not even a thought. My perception focused on gathering information, and finding sources of information everywhere.

 

 I would search and find one thing, then start reading and learning, then someone would talk about another related subject.  Then, I searched for information about that, and begin my quest anew.  I began to understand that it is this discovery that is the process of life and learning.

 

Now, I am not as concerned about all the distractions that originally caused me to seek answers.  It is OK that others are seeking or walking a path.  I do not have to follow.  I am learning that trying to be all and learn all, is just another of ego's disguises.  I am not seeking so much as experiencing life and all it has to offer.  My life is constantly filled with wonder and joy, and I am remembering to live in the experience of each moment.  With each breath my purpose is to appreciate life in all its aspects and to honor the presence of God within each soul.

 

 My personal and spiritual growth is an ongoing experience in love and appreciation.  It is a privilege to be able to share my journey with you. And, my wish for you is joy and happiness as you discover your journey.  It is the journey of discovery that creates the sacred space for us to grow and expand past the confines of our bodies and reach for the greatness within.

Now, 10 years after my Reiki journey first started I am passionate about empowering others to recognise their own natural healing and intuitive talents. I have completed Gold Reiki, Elven Shamanic Healing, Chakra Healing, Sacred Flames, Tao Reiki, Atlantis Reiki, Blue Star Celestial Energy, Ki Manna, Angel Light Healing, Crystal Healing, Colour Healing Therapy, Psychic Mastery, I am a Usui/Tibetan/Celtic and Kundalini Reiki Master/Teacher and I have been attuned to more than 60 different healing systems.

 

I work with the principles of the law of attraction / affirmations / visualizations/ meditation / power thoughts and so on, which bring more variety to my healing techniques and i can help even more because my aim and mission in life is to help, support and empower those people who are looking for a way forward in life and need a little bit of help to unlock their true potential, or to combat any fears, doubts, or trauma you may be going through. I am certainly committed and direct in my ability to liberate people from their fears and limitations, leading them to success, fulfilment and good health and wellbeing. It gives me great joy to be able to heal, teach and guide others and to be able to Heal, Initiate/Attune them into this wonderful healing systems.

 

I also hold a diploma in Counselling skills, Life-Coach, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Itec Holistic Massage.

 

I am a good listener, full of empathy and understanding, humbly knowing that there's always more to learn.. I believe life is a SACRED Journey ..I believe that there is nothing more important or more satisfying than being true to yourself and living your life from your heart. I believe life is about passion and finding motivation to succed, is about making dreams come true, is about understanding the magic that lies deep within the soul.

 

The reason I started Creating - Harmony is because I am filled with gratitude and I have always felt that my purpose in life is to heal people also I really feel I want to share the knowledge and gift of Reiki with as many people as I can reach. So if you are reading this, the message is definitely intended for you.

 

The time has come to put away our childish toys and begin our ascent into our adulthood.  We have looked upon ourselves as fully developed and grown and felt that we could make changes that only met our needs.  The season of change is upon us that calls us to rise up and take a new direction.  A change of growth and development that we may feel uncomfortable with at first.  We are not necessary ready, we say.  We feel somewhat unprepared.  This causes us to hold back and wait and see what others will do or how they will react as these changes begin.

 

The day of waiting for others has ended.  It is the time to take on your role you agreed to so very long ago.  It is not important what others want, or feel, or need of you.  It is important for you to feel the calling within your soul and respond to it.  We all hold within us the truth of our being.  We know this deep within our soul, and we understand that not being aligned with this creates tension and discord within our very essence.  The first steps appear difficult, but are necessary.  Begin.  Begin with the small steps if necessary, but begin.
